On the "Site Settings" page - in the "Configs" section - in the "MAIL SETTINGS (SMTP)" block, you can specify the parameters for the email account from which system emails will be sent using the SMTP protocol.
The values for the SMTP host, SMTP port, and SMTP secure protocol fields are usually public for popular email providers, such as Gmail, ZeptoMail, and Proton. You can find these values on the official websites of email providers by searching for SMTP.
In the "Account email" field, you should enter the email address used to log into the email account with the provider's system.
In the "Sender" field, you need to specify the address from which the email will be sent. If your email address does not have an alias, you should use the email address from the "Account email" field.
You can also specify the first and last name that will be used when sending the email in this field. Use the following format for input:First_Name Last_Name <support@example.com>
.
Пример: Support Exchanger <support@exchanger.com>
In this example, the sender will be displayed as Support Exchanger
, and the sender's address will be support@exchanger.com
In the "Account password" field, you should enter the password used for authentication when sending emails via the SMTP protocol. Depending on the email provider, this can be either the account password or a separate app password that is exclusively used for SMTP. For security purposes, after reloading the page, the value in the "Account password" field will be hidden.
In the "Support department email" field, you can specify an email address to which a copy of the user's request will be sent. If you leave this field empty, user requests will be sent to the email address specified in the "Account email" field. The specifics of sending user requests when an email is specified in the "Support department email" field are described below in the "Example Support department email" block.
